Based on your presearch & today’s exercise, how will you refine your research question?
I will refine my topic by talking more about how politics have effected the drink and snack machines in schools. also, how politics have effected companies going from sugar to high corn syrup. I will also talk about how changing these things has effected childhood obesity. i will also talk about politics helping make physical education mandatory in schools.
I feel that you have a good topic. There should be a lot of research on your topic especially if you get into the education part. I feel you try to put something about how it affects whatever your major is. Just to help expand your research.

ReplyDeleteYou have three different research questions in your post. Pick one - just focusing on the efforts to change drink and snack machines in schools (and the arguments on each side) would be a good question for a 5 page paper. Alternately, the sugar vs. high fructose corn syrup issue could be a direction you could go. But trying to include both in one paper will mean that you won't address either topic well.
